岸からの釣り、いわゆる***おかっぱり***の事をbank fishing と言います。岩場などから釣る時はrock fishingという時もあります。岸からの釣りを表す言い回しとしては、この他、fish from shore (shoreline)や砂浜から釣る場合surf fishingなどがあります。陸っぱりを適切な英語で言えるようになりましょう。

Kanji rare enough for [sK], easily, but in daijs, and the kanji explain the meaning of the term ("sticking to the land"). So prefer [rK] here over hiding it. Although it's so low, I feel a little hypocritical.  If [sK], I won't object.

Checked twitter, 陸っぱり is indeed quite common.
