No refs but Googling for "ライム" + "石灰" brings up a lot of pages where ライム is used with that meaning. Seems to be particularly in gardening. |

These two "limes" have completely separate etymologies but our policy thus far has been not to split if the English spelling and pronunciation are the same.
Is there a source for sense 2? I'm not seeing it any of my refs. Wikipedia says "英語で石灰のこと", which suggests it's not used in Japanese. |
