Meikyo's "造" entries are essentially kanwa entries. 婚 is not a prefix in 婚姻, 婚約, etc. as 姻 and 約 are not nouns.
I can see the argument for a suffix entry, though. |

I can see the advantages of a 婚/こん entry despite it usually being regarded as just a kanwa
matter. I'm glad to see that 明鏡 has it as an affix entry. I must say I'm a little
surprised that 婚礼 is stated as being 婚+礼.
Difficult to come up with a frequency. |
