I proposed this after seeing this word being used in the wild. When I looked up 利権 I was faced with 3 very different glosses in the same sense, so 利権ビジネス was not obvious at all.
I'm fine with dropping the second gloss. Also, this seems to mean 'company granted a concession'. |

I'm having a couple of problems with this:
- it's pretty much 利権 + ビジネス, but the 直訳 "concession company" doesn't actually mean much to me
- the reference doesn't explain that well what it really means (assuming it's accurate - some of those "best answers" are off the mark.)
- AFAICT a "concessionaire" doesn't mean the same thing as a "company that deals with concessions". It's more an entity that's been granted a concession.
I'm not convinced it's needed, and I certainly think it needs a more informative gloss. |
