I don't think it implies that.
I think floor plans are commonplace enough that we should include
words/abbreviations that appear on them.
It's also useful to have an entry because it could potentialy be
misunderstood as 洗面台. |

Is it necessary to have an entry for an abbreviation that (I assume) is only used in floor plans?
It's not as though you can use 洗 in a sentence to mean 洗濯機, which is what this entry implies. |
