seems to yield adequate results as a gloss.
other notes on 詣り墓.
単墓制 seems to be the less-common historic contrast for single-grave burials. We don't have this term, but maybe not critical.
Might be worth noting explicitly that the "second grave for the soul" is explicitly to facilitate visitation (as suggested by 詣り墓). Or not, it's a niche piece of information. |
