I think 魔法陣 should be added back to 魔方陣 as an iK form. It would mean having 魔法陣 on two entries but I think it's preferable to an "incorrect kanji" note. |

Thanks. I think the cleanest solution is to pull 魔法陣 off the 魔方陣 entry and put it in here as a seconde (erroneous) sense. Otherwise it's too messy. |

魔法陣 was added by Rene some years back to the 魔方陣/まほうじん/magic square entry as an "iK' alternative, with "meikyo" as the reference. Either this gets added there as another sense (but the "iK" is a problem) or 魔法陣 is moved off that entry to here I don't have access to meikyo, so I don't know how strong that addition is. I think it best if 魔法陣 is dropped from the 魔方陣 entry. |

This is basically used in fiction. It has nothing to do with 魔方陣 meaning-wise, just etymology. It's not quite synonymous with 魔法円. |
