Charity is "a virtue", but it's a specific
virtue, i.e. (well) charity, so "virtue"
isn't a great gloss.
Wouldn't "charity (in Christian theology)" or
"(in Christianity)" be better/clearer than
"charity (in faith, hope and charity)"?

Widespread in Christianity (1 Corinthians 13); not just in Catholicism.

By (charity in Catholicism) I meant "one of Catholicism's
three theological virtues: Faith, Hope and Charity". See
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charity_(virtue)
It was a little ambiguous, though. Maybe this is better?
