Comments: | With 特定厨, the emphasis seems to be on identifying a person, whereas with "doxxer" it's on making private information public. They overlap significantly, but I think a more descriptive gloss would be helpful anyway. |

Comments: | I think the terms are effectively interchangeable, even though it's possible to imagine a 特定厨 which only uses the info to blackmail somebody rather than publish it online. But look at the Fox article - the "doxxer" was "merely" threatening to publish information - is he than a doxxer? |
