Comments: | I couldn't find this expression in an online dictionary, so I've linked a 知恵袋 answer for now. I'm also not sure how to best translate 金鍔 in the literal definition (or if the literal definition is really needed at all). Since there's no English name for it, it seems clunky to call it a "Japanese confection shaped like a sword guard" here. |
