| Comments: | I wonder if it's worth adding a less literal gloss (like "to adore"). Attaching すぎる to positive adjectives is very common in colloquial speech (e.g. かっこよすぎる, うますぎる) and means something closer to "ridiculously". |

| Comments: | Rather obvious, but useful. I came across a manga called "ブタが好きすぎてハンガリーの国賓になりました". (The n-grams counts are from some years back when I was collecting 複合動詞.) |
