Depopulate means "substantially reduce the population of (an area)". Not necessarily the removal of all people. |

If it's depopulated,
how can it have
inhabitants? |

There's an english version of the wikipedia article which says
that this word could be translated as "limited village" or
"marginal village" but this doesn't have a source, and aren't
terms used in english, so I feel that a translation of the
definition entry is the only option. |
