More information on the word. The latin name of the tree is kalopanx pictus. In English it is called either kalopanx or Prickly Castor Oil tree. It is used in Chinese medicine however it is not the source for western castor oil. |

Couldn't find this definition in any online dictionary. Nelson didn't even have it but it's common in the lumber trade in Japan. |
