The genus name should have 属 at the end. Without it, it's a member of the genus. So perhaps this? |

What's an appropriate gloss in these cases? GG5's entry has: "【植】 〔属名〕 Zygnema."
The Wikipedia page on Zygnema says: "Zygnema is a genus of freshwater filamentous thalloid alga ....." |
