I think the original comment is mostly on the money. I know 
for sure that のう is the typical sentence-ending particle used 
by old people in dubs (i.e. foreign and animated movies, etc.)
I'd agree with removing the ksb-tag.

None of my references mention that, and "I've been told" is not enough to change the entry. I'll leave this for Rene to see, as he did the original entry.

Hi, I've been told that this is general "old men's language" and not specifically Kansai region.
