Invariably 手間が省ける (4M hits)

This is just the potential form of はぶく.  I don't think it should be an entry.  手間が省ける could ~perhaps~ go in as an expression---Eijiro has it---although it's just a take on 手間を省く.  I'd rather have an entry for that.  I'm not sure this one is necessary.

Got this in an email from a coworker and was bewildered. 
Clipped Quote:
