"going out" is a rummy term that, due to the similarity of the
games, I've often heard in the context of mahjong. For example,
Daina Chiba uses the phrase often in his book.

"going mahjong" is attested by the wikipedia article. I think
this phrase is more popular among "American Mah-Jongg" players.

Yes, best split out. I'll do that.

I just noticed (oops) that there is a long discussion concerning
あがり in the edit history below, so I thought I'd add a few more
references.

  「和了(あがり)の形も14牌で作られます。」

Kindai Mahjong also frequently uses アガリ.

  「和了の翻数が13翻以上で役満と同等の点数のアガリ」

As Jim mentioned below, あがり seems to be gikun. Perhaps it may
be cleaner to split 和了(あがり・アガリ)+和了り into a separate entry.
  Comments:
I think I actually have heard ホーラ now that I think about it,
but I always thought they were saying 「ほら!」😅

The Wikipedia article says 和了 can be either あがり or ホーラ,
but clearly 和了り is restricted to あがり
