works well enough for me

  Comments:
I found it in a Nikkei passage: 子連れスキー場が増えているのは、小さな子供を連れ歩くのに抵抗がなくなってきたため... which certainly supports that リーダーズ+プラス meaning.
See how this goes...

リーダーズ+プラス has: carry around=CARRY…about; 〈子供を〉連れ歩く; .....
  Comments:
I guess the carry is specifically for a child. Third sense?

if i'm not mistaken, nikkoku has this as
-
[1][v5k,vi]
to walk with
[1][v5k,vt]
to make someone tag along
-
etc. poor wording on the part of eijiro, or does it fit into one of these senses,
or is it a legitimate third sense?
