It's not that this happens to sound like ちょんまげ, it IS the word ちょんまげ, used to mean ちょうだい
for comedic effect. It's commonly uk, but so is the hairstyle. |

Not sure I agree, Apart from the "sounds like" aspect, it's nothing to do with 丁髷. If it were to go anywhere else it would be in sense 3 of ちょうだい, but that's a step too far. I'd continue to have it alone. |
