Comments: | The refs have なまざけ but there are a few real hits for なまじゃけ. しゃけ is a 訓読み of 鮭. |

Comments: | I guess that one could put "なま," as a prefix, in front of so many things. However, the combination with salmon does seem a natural combination. There are nearly 60k Google hits for the general search and nearly 40k Google images. The Google images seems to show cooked fish so I did not include the expression "raw" above. Perhaps, you would consider promotion. The novice would appreciate it. JB: I see pictures of raw salmon as well. GG5 has "unsalted salmon" too. I'll extend it to take in those. |
