And if you're deeply religious, well sorry, but one of the few Liturgical style guides I have seen also has it as lowercase. The only time you would capitalize Heaven and Hell is if these were distinct places, say in a work of fiction." |

Comments: | Added gloss “God doesn’t give with both hands”, which is the perfect idiomatic gloss in English! (19,700 Google hits, 9 books hits; not v. common, but reasonably so.) Interestingly, I heard this in Japanese before hearing the English equivalent, but it’s the equivalent. |
