I think sense 2 handles it well enough. You'd have to have an essay on all the things that could lead someone to saying it That Chiebukuro paragraph is good, but let's not try and turn it into a gloss. |

If we could come up with more than one English gloss, I feel "bloop" would be fine. But alone, I agree it's a little weird, it would seem
like we're saying it's a better translation than it really is.
How's just "nurupo"? We can come back and remove the gloss once Jmdict 2.0 is functional |

As internet slang, ぬるぽ has no set meaning.
ヌルポ is actually the correct reading for "null" (see ngrams and ヌル文字). I can't find any evidence that it's written as "ＮＵＬＬＰＯ", even in the Java sense.
NullPointerException is specifically a Java thing. |
