I think sense 2 handles it well enough. You'd have to have an essay on all the things that could lead someone to saying it That Chiebukuro paragraph is good, but let's not try and turn it into a gloss.

OK. I'm afraid "bloop" doesn't work for me either. If it means anything, it's a mistake, like "blooper". I feel it's best left as an explanation, but I can live with "nurupo".

If we could come up with more than one English gloss, I feel "bloop" would be fine. But alone, I agree it's a little weird, it would seem 
like we're saying it's a better translation than it really is.
How's just "nurupo"? We can come back and remove the gloss once Jmdict 2.0 is functional
