I think it's worth keeping -it's common and has 63 sentences linked to it.
When Paul Blay proposed it in 2007 he commented that it could possibly have more glosses. I see that most of the 63 have it as "nothing: in some form, e.g.
私の邪魔をするものは何もない。 There is nothing to hinder me.
我々には行く手をさえぎるものは何もない。 Nothing bars our way.
Almost all examples have it at the end of the sentence, which may be worth a note.
Interestingly, in the two sentences where it is glossed as "empty" it is not prenominal:
その部屋には使い古したベッドのほかは何もなかった。 The room was empty except for a shabby bed. 
倉庫には家具が一つの他には何もなかった。 The warehouse was empty except for a piece of furniture.
