As with previous discussions on the radicals, I wonder if you would consider including the actual radical in the description by direct input of the radical shape itself or by reference to a character, e.g.,"杰", with a description stating that the radical is the 4 dots/lines/ under the tree.
You also have a line from the following, where the same inclusion could be incorporated:-
