| Comments: | That Weblio reference points to two different dictionary entries: Daijirin: 焚き合わせ/炷き合わせ which has the meaning of "香道で，一枚の銀葉の上に二つ以上の香木をのせて聞くこと。". Obviously part of an incense ceremony. 実用日本語表現辞典: 炊き合わせ: "肉や野菜などを個々の特性に合わせて煮込み..." That is, our current entry. I think they are two quite different terms. Daijirin agrees, with separate entries for the two. 広辞苑, however, combines 炊き合わせ and 焚き合わせ in the one entry. I suspect it's either wrong, or showing something rather archaic. Either way, I don't think we should go here. Feel free to submit an entry for 焚き合わせ based on Daijirin. |
