さんざん
1. [suf]

▶ Mount
2. [suf]
▶ temple
Cross references:
⇒ see: 2088860 山号 1. honorific mountain name prefixed to a temple's name

  Comments:
I think both of these usage notes are redundant. The [suf] tag explains how 山 attaches to names.

The "honorific mountain name" context is explained by the cross reference. A few of my kokugos just have 「寺」 or 「寺院」 for sense 2.

i don't think the PoS can be a suf when the gloss says that it is a pref.

  Comments:
my gloss is probably not the best as the "san" is not the name
in itself, though both daijr and daijs do of course list 山号
as well.
