possibly the 'honorific' tag should be nuked. 様 makes it honorific-style language, but i'm not sure it's really used "honorifically" here, is it? it's just arrogant
all the sources just say 尊大, not 敬称 (etc.) which is usually the indicator we use when applying an [hon] tag |

I think there might be some merit to
having some kind of second sense here, but
I don't really have time to figure out
exactly what it should be/properly attest
for the usage right now.
I do believe us editors have a
responsiblity (in one sense - this is of
course volunteer work) to look up even
poorly sourced amendments/suggestions, but
Nicolas, if you're going to "insist" on
something being included, you'd make it a
lot easier for everyone if you could
include actual sourced examples (and
several of them) instead of vaguely hand-
waving with "there's plenty on Google".
I'm not saying this as an admonishment,
more as advice. |

I still can't see a case for adding that second sense. I'd really expect it to be in a kokugo if it were valid. Can someone else look into this?
(You need to add quote marks when searching for 俺様彼氏 and 俺様夫 or you get heaps of results from the components.) |

I'd like to insist on my previous edit. We've already done something similar in the second sense for 僕. Also, Google hits for 俺様彼氏 and 俺様夫, for instance, are numerous. |

The Tofugu site often has interesting and useful things. That example is a bit like saying
"she's a me-me-me person". It doesn't make "me" either an adjective or a second-person
pronoun. |

I can only find it defined as a pompous/arrogant form of I/me. |

I think this has a secondary sense of "arrogant man," when used to talk about others, as in the sentence あいつって、俺様彼氏だよね。
I couldn't find support for this in the sources I checked though. |

We count 尊大語 as hon, right?
I mentioned this previously, but should pn's really be tagged adj-no? "私の" is I think strictly possessive, not
adjectival. |
