I think at least the 2nd sense is worth keeping - see google 
images for "ストーン" (vs "stone"). Maybe it should even come 
before "stone." I mean, I get that "stone" can mean 
"gemstone" by itself but I think it's helpful to distinguish 
between them, esp. as many times the Japanese usage is 
"trinket made out of plastic" rather than "A gem or precious 
stone" (American Heritage® Dictionary, 5th sense for rock)

i think just "stone" covered all of those pretty nicely, and in any case, if this is supposed to be comprehensive, the unit of mass has been omitted.  either this should be rolled back or it should be added
