The hindu god ブラフマー:

(critical note at bottom: 日本では「梵天」という名で知られる[48]。)
The buddhist god 梵天:

Hindu:

Buddhist:

I'm aligning [1] with 梵天王 and ブラフマー by adding the word "creator", which seems reasonable enough.
After that, I am suggesting some important (and less-important)changes, but not doing anything on this myself....
I think this needs one more sense for the Buddhist god, whose role differs from the Hindu God. It may be the case that 梵天王 applies to one and not the other. It appears to *actually* be the case that ブラフマー refers only to the Hindu God, not the Buddhist God. (Buddhist god seems to *not* be a creator god... haven't studied in depth).
Wikipedia in English and Japanese both have completely separate pages for the Hindu and Buddhist gods, with the proviso that in Japanese, there is a page for 梵天 (Buddhist), and a Page for ブラフマー(Hindu) which ends with a line stating "In Japan, ブラフマー is known as 梵天".
sankoku has only three entries: 1. Indian god, 2. Buddhist god, 3. puffy thing at end of ear pick. Does not have an entry for ブラフマー.
The ear pick thing is real. You can even get fluffy balls back from an image search of ぼんてん, so this may even be a bit broader than the earpick usage. Happy shopping:

This website discusses the use of 梵天 for carpet color matching? and it brings up the dictionary definitions of 梵天 and 天竺 to speculate how this meaning might have come about...
https://www.sincol-kys.co.jp/blog/carpet/2351/
I have not yet found any examples of [3], though I'm sure they must be out there. But sankoku doesn't list [3], and I suspect it might be [rare] or otherwise historical.
To complicate matters, wikipedia verifies the ear pick thing *and* gives another orthography.
https://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/耳掻き
梵天(凡天、ぼんてん)
AND, earpick may not have the ぼんでん reading. (sankoku doesn't give ぼんでん at all for any of this, ぼんてん image search returns fluffy balls, ぼんでん returns a Hindu/Buddhist god). |

Added the senses in meikyo and shinmeikai.
I don't think the 耳かき x-ref is needed. |

Not in any JEs AFAICT. |

This is that last of 9 senses in Daijisen. The other kokugos don't have it but they all have a range of senses including buoys, fishing tackle, weapons, melons, etc. I think if we are going add senses in addition to the main Brahma one, we should include a reasonably complete set, and not just this one. |
