The definition of the contraction should not be different from that from which it was contracted from.
For example, "(there is) no reason" doesn't capture how this is expression is used in the example sentence.
Even Google translate gives わけないだろ as "no way".

With the definition as is, the 英訳 for these sentences makes no sense.
