A good self-effacing use: "This sketch is 蕪雑, but I would be happy if you all would take a look"

self-effacing:
中学で初めて書いた蕪雑な恋愛小説は、私の宝だ。

  Comments:
Rare but used. Not not worth knowing...

sankoku says 入り混じって整わないこと 「ーな文章」。

Doesn't seem to apply to people(why I was looking at it).

Saw a comment that a translation took some time to read because it was 蕪雑.

Lot's of use as self-effacing "my work is 蕪雑, but". This makes "unpolished" feel a bit weak. Unrefined especially so(I dropped this gloss).
