Now that we have scrubbed-up entries for 幾人か, 幾人も and 幾人でも this gloss is probably the best one, but is it really a noun? The n-gram counts are not indicating much noun-like syntax, and Unidic doesn't have it as a bound morpheme. Maybe "exp" works in this case.
