In the text which I was reading [text book written for Japanese children] it had the following:- かえるがなきだします。 As I would understand that, it means "a frog started to croak" "蛙が鳴き出す" is the equivalent to the main entry above for the animal world and I am wondering if there is any reason for it not being included or for my not being able to find it. It does not get as many Google hits as the main entry above, but it gets the odd 80k on my search. |
