Is sense #2 really slang?
I think its use in the lead sentence of the Wikipedia article 餡 suggests that it's not slang:
餡（あん）あるいは餡子（あんこ）とは、肉・野菜・豆類・芋類などを用いた餅や饅頭などの中身に入れる具のことである。
