i agree. and if someone can't figure out what 重重に means given that we have entries for 重重 and に, they probably are in need of more help than we can provide. if needed, the sense above belongs in the entry for 重重, not here |

I'm not sure we need this. 重々 isn't a 形容動詞 and there are no 重々に examples in the kokugos or JEs.
I suspect it's just a a mistake made by people who forget that 重々 is already an adverb. Only accounts for ~1% of instances of 重々. |
