I think it should be dropped from the kanji from all entries when that form isn't particularly common. I think we might as well move away from tagging both reading and kanji and just tag whichever is more common. |

Not really needed I think. We usually do not include etymological information.
But, on the other hand, some people erroneously believe that ありがとう is derived from Portuguese obrigado. |
