But アホノミクス is not just ksb?

  Comments:
あほ is def. more common than あほう in modern speech.
Not listed as such in daij but today, I think it's fair
to say this is mostly [ksb], even if あほう might have
historically been used elsewhere (just guessing based on
the daij entries).

Actually they did a pretty in-depth survey on the show 探
偵ナイトスクープ in I think the 90's to see where people
stop saying あほ and begin to say ばか. あほ turned into
たわけ somewhere in Gifu (they found the "exact" border
between two houses somewhere in Sekigahara I think). It
started as a segment on a single show but they went on
to create a two-three hour TV-special and even produced
a map/poster detailiing their finds:

removed sens as ばか isn't tagged with it. I've heard the
claim that to Tokyoites, あほ is more hurtful than ばか,
but it's the other way around in Osaka.

Both those refs point to the Japanese Wordnet. While it's a great resource (are you reading this Professor Bond?), it casts its net rather widely, and I'm wary of basing a gloss, and in particular a new sense, on it alone.
In this case, all the 国語s say that the meaning is the person and not the act.
