It seems that 炒飯 can be read as "チャーハン" just as 拉麺 can be read as "ラーメン". Additionally, only inputting "ちゃーはん" will let you convert to 炒飯 using Microsoft IME; inputting "ちゃあはん" yields no such conversion. |
