Comments: | I don't think "論争の" *ever* means "controversial" (or "disputed", etc.) other than in EJ dictionaries, where it is used to to explain the meaning of words like "controversial". I'm 100% sure the "論争の" entry in eij is just a reversed EJ entry. (In eij, there's often no way to distinguish between headwords and glosses). |
