the 輪 is used throughout that wikipedia page, but always as a counter or part of a compound with the exception of one case where it appears in quotation marks
even the digital dictionary of buddhism doesn't define it as chakra, except in the sense that it says 輪=wheel and wheel=chakra in sanskrit
i think this is correct, it's just a matter of whether it's worth recording. i'm inclined to pass |

I'm having trouble seeing there's a case for adding that sense. None of the kokugos I checked have it (and Koj has 8 senses). Daijr in its チャクラ entry has "輪の意", not 輪とも書く. The "輪（りん）と漢訳される" in the Wiki page could be referring to how it was marked up in kanbun. I think I'd need to see more solid evidence. |
