Comments: | Since だ is explicitly listed as an equivalence, a reader will likely subconsciously infer that it is a copula regardless of how well they are acquainted with the term, I will agree it is not strictly necessary. However, I think it should be included for the sake of consistency rather than necessity: なり is ラ変, it is a 助動詞, and it is a copula; to not include all of them is arbitrary and undermines the purpose of the tag: if things will not have a tag when it applies, why have a tag at all? |
