* I saw this written as 銘名 today (on a plaque on a statue, for that matter), but I hesitate to add it, even with [iK], since it’s *much* rarer – dunno what policy is on this, so submitting a comment, not an edit.
(It does get some use – checking the results, it is sometimes used in the same way on the webpages, meaning “give a name”. Dunno if it’s suppose to express a nuance of “thing” instead of “person” (命).) |
