Refs: | daijr: "(名•形動)[文] ナリ" Oxford: dainty | [noun] something good to eat; a delicacy. |
|
Comments: | I think you mean daijr, not daijs. That "[文]" is a tag for the literary (文語形) なり form. It can be found on all 形容動詞 entries (excluding recent terms). 美味 is certainly more common in written Japanese but I wouldn't consider it literary. Meikyo is usually a pretty good guide when it comes to this. "dainty" is also a noun. |

Comments: | daijs does. [文] also it's obviously not spoken language. also "dainty" is an adjective, the other glosses are nouns. |

Comments: | I don't think this literary. Meikyo doesn't tag it as such. |

Comments: | It's not "P-tagged". See https://www.edrdg.org/cgi-bin/wwwjdic/wwwjdic?1MDJ̣ The newspaper counts from ~20 years ago were divided into the "news1" and "news2" groups. Only the former result in a "P" tag in the EDICT versions. |

Comments: | Should this word really be P-tagged? |
