I beg to differ. It's 非 + 公開, i.e. "non-/un/etc." + " opening to the public; making available to the public". I don't think exclusive is suitable as the first gloss but it's appropriate in the context of the others.
I'll leave this open for discussion.

It's not a good match because nothing in 非公開 directly suggests neither "exclusive" nor "closed door". GG5 is frequently less literal in its translations which I guess works for them because their audience is mainly native Japanese (and translators who want as many synonyms as possible). I don't think it's a good match for a JMdict gloss.
