| Comments: | i have forgotten when [obs] is supposed to be used. i used to use it in terms of "this is a term that has been supplanted by some other term", but i think there was some kind of discussion that [arch] was for pre-meiji words and [obs] is for post-meiji words that are just no longer used. |
