Comments: | I've had a go at it, however the absence of this sense from 広辞苑, 大辞林 and GG5 makes me wonder whether it isn't rather marginal/ephemeral. |

Comments: | I don't think the sense in the daijs ref is covered so far, and I believe it's the same sense as in the form "今に通じる". E.g.: "今に通じる大師の教え" "中学生の頃の感想は今に通じるか?" I don't see anything in my JEs that covers this, and I'm not sure what a good gloss would be (particularly that would also cover the first example from daijs). |
