| Comments: | I am revisiting an edit proposed by Rene back in May 2007. See http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~jwb/dicsubs/PreviousYears/2007-05/subs2007-05-30.html I took the decision at the time not to add 襲 to the 重ね entry. I now think that was a wrong decision. Rene wanted an additional sense restricted to 襲. I see from the Google ngrams that 重ねの色目 is almost as frequent as 襲の色目, so I'm suggesting making it a note instead of a restriction. |
