Comments: | Just here to tag the rK, but I'll note for the history/discussion my context: これはアンデットの仕業じゃないね。(mysterious ghosts in a forest, it's a different magical creature). +1 for "one's doing(esp. neg)" gloss. Translator chose "this isn't *the work of* the undead". Going back to an earlier comment "this is the devil's doing" == "this is the work of the devil". Not sure if/how one might stick "the work of" into the glosses... Xの仕業 = "the work of X". |
