However 見窄らしい is the form that's in the Ichiman reference list. I think it can be dropped from the kanji.

OK. I think "seedy" is OK - it fits the other glosses. Maybe danger/illegality is an AmE nuance.

To me, "seedy" has connotations of danger and possibly illegality. The
gloss in GG5 but I'm not a fan. As I understand it, the meaning of
みすぼらしい is more narrowly focused on physical appearance.

The kanji 見 appears in ~5% of usages, so I don't think 見すぼらしい
technically counts as [rK]. I think it's safe to move it to the
first position.

Should this be demoted to [ichi2]?
