I think "急行の" is just label for the English glosses. GG5 and other JEs often do this for Japanese nouns that have no adjective form (see 弾劾 for another example).

It's always "急行バス", not "急行のバス". A Google search for "急行のバス" just returns things like "京浜急行のバス".
